I have struggled in writing the attached to make myself as clear as possible while also trying to explain the role of the school board and the Superintendent in this issue. For them it is not and should not be about their own personal beliefs but rather about what decision does the most to protect the children, teachers, staff, and volunteers that work in the school and what decision provides the greatest opportunity to keep our schools open for in-school learning during the coming year.

It is not about the rights of parents; as there are, I am sure, parents on both sides of this issue.

I hope that this is helpful to you and to the school board and the Superintendent as this issue is decided.
